The Uric Acid, Serum test is a blood test that measures the level of uric acid in the bloodstream. Uric acid is a waste product produced when the body breaks down purines, which are naturally occurring substances found in foods and cells. Elevated uric acid levels can be associated with conditions like gout and kidney disease
